iD Mobile Phone Service Reviews On Trustpilot
Trustpilot was the first site I visited and the site had an overall star review rating of 4.0 stars out of 5 stars. There were a good number of positive reviews and a lot of customers spoke about the company’s signal and coverage. They mentioned that there is always a signal and they don’t experience dropped calls. A few customers also mentioned that they have good coverage while traveling abroad and they get good value for their money. Here are a few of the good reviews: •Both my Wife and I were on pay as you go, the need to upgrade was needed badly. The young chap in the local Curry’s store was more than helpful, he explained all the different phones in detail and the different tariff applicable to our age and lifestyle. Result A13’s for both my wife and myself along with ID mobile this part was a no brainer. Setting both phones up is simple. Our ages 74/76. •Competitive price. Better or comparative signal in my area. No hassle to deal with which is a relief and the reason for leaving the previous supplier. Billing arrangements straight forward. Been with iD for several years now. Definitely would recommend. •Quicker, stronger signal, cheaper than our previous supplier with free European roaming and hassle free change over. What’s not to like? Now, on to the bad reviews, a good amount of the bad reviews spoke about poor signal strength and data coverage. Some customers mentioned that there were some days their calls and texts wouldn’t go through their line. A few customers mentioned that sometimes the company has issues and they aren’t able to access their account or pay their bills but the major complaints on the site were about bad signal and coverage. Here are some of the bad reviews: •I switched to iD as it was a better deal than 3 was offering, however I have constant issues from trying to send texts and getting good signals in many places to make/receive calls. Also lots of times I can’t access Web pages or it’s generally slow. Glad it’s not a long term contract as I can’t see myself staying. Plus customer service is only online. You can’t call or talk to a real person. •I would never go near an iD Mobile or 3 again. Ported my number across and then couldn’t receive texts or calls for 10 days. Promised someone would call – they never did. Took the phone back and went back to my old network. I really wasn’t surprised to get a text that the PORT to them is delayed by missing information from iD Mobile. At least my number works again now. iD Mobile phones are a joke. •The worst network coverage ever. It’s not worth it, the terrible service no could get in touch and when they did I was unable to have a conversation. I couldn’t use the minutes they offered for almost two years and all my calls had to be over WhatsApp just so I could get a little bit better reception. Really bad service I’ve paid to leave early and all they offered me is £20. (Source)
iD Mobile Phone Service Reviews On Reviews.io Site
The Review.io site had an overall star review rating of 1.2 stars out of 5 stars. There were very few good reviews and most of them were from more than 2 years ago. And a lot of them were about the company’s good signal, coverage and deals. Here are some of the few good reviews I found: •Best value deal I could find by far, superfast 5G coverage where I live and the app is fine, what’s not to like? SIM arrived quickly and transferred the number over from Vodafone without hassle. Thanks! •I’ve been with iD since its launch in 2015. I’ve changed tariffs a couple of times as better value plans have become available. Coverage is fairly good – my reason for changing back then was that Vodafone just didn’t work in locations I was spending lots of time at. Moving to iD was an immediate improvement. Everything can be managed from the app. I’ve only contacted customer service once a few years ago, I only had to speak to one person and once they managed to grasp what I was asking for it was sorted immediately. I don’t know what there is not to love really. There were a lot of complaints about poor phone signal and coverage. A few customers complained about how difficult it was to get out of a contract and some mentioned their bills were increased without their knowledge. Their app has some issues according to some customers who complained that the app doesn’t work well. In one of the reviews, a customer mentioned he/she ordered a phone from iD Mobile and when it was delivered it came faulty and another customer complained he/she never got their order. Here are some of the bad reviews: •This is a company to avoid. The quality of the network is extremely bad. They make it very difficult for you to get out of a contract. They rip you off. Avoid and go to a company you can easily contact and leave if you wish to. •0 stars!!!! They cancel direct debit without telling u then months later you have a bill which is triple bloody digits!!!!!! And on top of tht they change the price of the contract. ALSO the app is the worst app ever! I asked about an ‘outstanding bill’ to customer service on the app and they said to ignore it!!!!! These are not professional people and will take all your money and your credit score with it!!!! AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!! •Terrible signal and customer service. Very poor in every way. Would not recommend to anyone, pay the extra fiver to go to EE or somewhere else. AVOID THIS COMPANY. •We cancelled a family member’s contract after they died in July 2018, we checked there was no service. We missed the fact that iD kept taking the direct debit until 2022. 5 months of communications and 2 copies of the death and all iD has done is stop the debit. So stressful, no apologies for 4 year of taking a DD for no services. Appalling service! (Source)
